Aversion Interview 1

As part of our research for our film Aversion, we interviewed various people about their experiences of growing up gay in the 1950’s and 60’s. We were interested primarily in the general atmosphere of the time, attitudes to and knowledge of homosexuality (and transexuality), and the impact these things had on their lives.

Here is the first part of our interview with Dave Wakely.

We hope these videos will be of interest. They certainly have helped us get a better feel for the environment in which our characters lived and formed.

If you yourself would like to contribute in any way, or know someone who might, please get in touch. These interviews are a work in progress, and any contribution may we of use to us, and the message we are trying to get across.
